Looks a well priced starter kit but it is rather limited in the devices
tha=
t
it can handle (14 pins max) =96 if you need a bit more I/O on a PIC chip eg
for controlling devices , serial I/O etc then you may be better getting a
more capable programmer to start with. As a learn PIC introduction it seems
reasonable though.=20

'ello!

I am looking to get into PC programming, and attempt to build some simple
HA controllers myself,

I have seen this:

(Microchip's new PICkit1 Flash Starter Kit) and I was wondering if any one
had any opionions on it?

its =A335, does that seem reasonable for a starter kit???

thanks in advance,

Alistair
