Agreed. ABC Flowcharter used to be better, but now that MS own Visio, it's
becoming the standard flowcharting package. Visio 2003 is on Beta release
(on the MS US website) if you want to trial it, or I think the UK website
sends out 30-day eval kits. I still think it's full of bugs ( I have to
use
it more or less every day), but compared to PowerPoint/Excel/Word, it's a
whole lot better.

not free but I find MS Visio is quite good.
