I've just ordered a pre-chipped xbox, but I think I am missing some
knowledge... what's a VOB ?

Well...just tried VOB playback over the network with xbox media player
and
it works a treat!  I've got full AC3 streaming over the LAN :)

Haven't been able to get it to play IFO files so I'd have to kick off
each
VOB individually to play a movie.  This may be just me..looking into it
now.
