The PDA-ir will work with any CF or PCMCIA adaptor if the software
application is able to control the PDA-ir data pin in the CF or PCMCIA
socket. Unfortunately, for most PDAs, the required hardware interfacing
information is unavailable to the software developer.

For example, PDAwin (the developer of TVRemote) is unable to obtain
hardware interfacing information from any PDA manufacturer apart from
Compaq.
