I'm with that.

Yes, correct. However the delay is *almost* imperceptible.

I do the same thing exactly in the AV room, with a slight
modification...

Sky can *ONLY* be viewed elsewhere in the house by using TiVo for
several reasons.

One is that TiVo controls Sky and this way TiVo always "knows" what
channel is being watched and changes correctly for recordings. Another
is that TiVo receives the IR from the Xantech system then tells the
Digibox what to do, thus eliminating the feedback problem you will get.

Now, the only way to eliminate the problem and to still maintain control
is to have the Digibax unable to "see" local IR and have it fed purely
>from the AV room. So tape over the window, leaving a small hole, put a
mini-emitter over the hole and test it, see if it works. That's the only
way I can think on doing it without moving the box to Node 0 as well.

The easiest way IMO is to do it the way I did and it stops people
fecking up the Tivo recordings etc, but it's your call.
