Hmm.... maybe two conventionals next to each other with a dual-head card is= still the say to go :-(

The Optoma L17 is actually 1280 x 768, acpect ratio of 1.666, just short (well narrow) of 16:9 (1.778)

The optoma (whoever they are) is 17" 1024x768 w/s
Video & PC/Mac monitor for =A3859+vat?

Not sure you'll get a widescreen much cheaper?
