What advantage do you get with this - apart from not having to touch the
flush switch?

I have recently fitted a "manual" Flap Valve (from Fluidmaster) that does
exactly the same for ?20, except you have to push a button (instead of pull
a lever). This was very simple to fit (about 1 hr max provided you can turn
water off to the loo easily). It uses much less water and is easier to use -
especially for young children or the elderly.

The "wave your hand" one?

Looks pretty cool. Would you think they are any harder to fit than a
conventional toilet?
