RE: Mounting a Rack Mount Server?

Title: RE: [ukha_d] Mounting a Rack Mount Server?

Mark,

the ears bend quite a bit - you'll need rails or something to hold them. might be able to sort something - leave it with me for a few days.

Still no luck with a few ears for Des - sorry.

Steve

Subject: [ukha_d] Mounting a Rack Mount Server?

I'm building a 1U rack mount server.  The drives aren't in it yet and
already it's a weighty wee bugger!  I can't imagine the "ears" will be able
to support this box on their own.  Do these generally sit on shelves then,
or is it standard practice to use rails or something?  Anyone got advice and
pics?

Thanks

M.
