Hi All,

Firstly appologies for the cross-posting.

1) If your not already aware there is now a seperate list for the barcode
scanner bulk purchase and software development.

Found at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/ukha_barcode/

All discussion regarding the bulk purchase and development will now take
place here, I will post regular updates to the main list to keep the UKHA
community upto date.

2) The current demand is around 20 units, I've asked if the supplier can
reduce the price for an order between 20 - 100 and it's fixed until we hit
100 units. Hopefully they are holding 50 units till next friday for us.

3) Investigations are on-going into level converstion to true RS232, this
will probably be available at extra cost to those who are interested, and
hopefully will also include conversion from a 12V PSU to supply the
scanner. This is likely to be around the £10 mark as a first guess.

4) I will place info as it acumulates onto a website, those wishing to
develop code / databases I will be happy to host this.

Regards

Stuart
