Thanks Luc,

that is what I feared. I am now trying running it in
parallel with a lamp and this seems to be working, I
just need to find something to use instead of a lamp.

Andy,

cutting that link will disable local control but it
will not do what you
want.
There will remain several components wich let a small
currentflow through
the load.
You will need another solution for this.

> I'm having trouble with my Fuji Pen PC connected
on an
> AM12U appliance module. I have set up the
power
> management to only go into suspend mode after a
couple
> of minutes running on battery so that when I run
my
> goodnight script the Fuji gets powered off and
will
> automatically suspend itself.
>
> However, I think the local control is allowing
enough
> power through to the Fuji to make it think the
power
> is still on and it doesn't suspend.
>
> Has any body done the disable local control mod
to an
> AM12U?
>
> I have had a look at various web pages but
none
> describe the UK spec. appliance modules. I think
it
> looks like I cut a link on the pcb next to the
middle
> of the IC on the circuit board - it's the only
link I
> can see.
>
> If someone could confirm that's the link before I
cut
> it I would be very grateful as it doesn't look
easy to
> reconnect once cut.
>
> Cheers
