Re: how does raid work



I bought the InnoVision AP-1680 IDE raid controller last week, along with two 40Gb drives. This card supports RAIR:

0 - striping
1 - mirroring
0+1 - striped/mirror (if you have four drives)

Installed perfectly into W2k server, and is now running my new firewall and=
Exchange Server. A very cheap solution (the card is only =A320), and easy t= o
install and setup.
