Re: Re: Hmevision ir transmitter

Andy

Port Pins  L = low H = high
1  2  3
L L  L

=  Zone 1 selected

1  2  3
H L L

=  Zone 2 selected

1  2  3
L H  L

= Zone 3 selected

1  2  3
H H L

=  Zone 4 selected  etc

You would either write a macro for each Zone setup to set or clear the port
pins .Or use a variable
and load the variable with the tx number and then call a macro that decodes
the variable and sets the port pins as required . The chip i use is a 4051
which i have used in other projects. Its normally used as an 8 to 1 input
multiplexer. You would call your macro first to setup your port pins to
select the Zone then a short delay and then transmit  the ir signal.
