Uhh, can we nip this argument in the bud as it sort of sounds like 
it's going to get nasty and prolonged like others recently?

Your post sounds (to me) quite annoyed, Mark! I would feel very 
pounced upon if that had been directed at me.

Maybe a group vote instead?
