After all the complaints about BT, thought I'd join in with fun with
NTL.

Get home the a couple of weeks ago to find a letter on my doorstep
form NTL ~ you will be cut off if you don't pay within seven days.
Dated 8 days ago, phone's cut off.

Phone up, pay, reconnected phone & after a couple of hours faffing
get back my broadband.

Get home last night. Phone works, TV & broadband gone.

Phone NTL "You've been cut off because you haven't paid your bill"
Me 'but I did'
NTL "yes"
Me 'so why have I been cut off'
NTL "because you haven't paid your bill"
me 'do I owe you any money'
NTL "no"
'so can I be recoonected'
"we'll have you back on by 8pm"
'right'

9pm - no service

'no service - WTF?'
NTL "sorry can't help call tommorow"

Glad it's not a critical service.

Only reason I was behind the first time was because I'd given up on 3
occasions after 30-45 min waits. Have sent 2 direct debit forms, non
recieved.

Probably have to spend ages tonight reregistering broadband for the
second time this month!!

No a happy bunny.

Whinge over.

A.
