Depends really, for triggering warnings you don't really need full speed.

I agree that full speed 4 cam would be nice, but those cards just aren't
that cheap yet.

For example, there are certain cameras that I know should not be triggered
unless I am here. If they trigger, somethings wrong.

I'm working with this card to run security software here, because the card
is as bare as anything is ever going to get.

It still very much a WIP as every piece of software I have tried so far is
either buggy or supports switching inputs very badly or just plain rubbish
recycled from ms example code.
