If you have iPAQ and HV and IR Distribution, then you could use HomeAutomat= or for no cost. My pronto is almost dead and is out of warranty period, but= I don't expect to have to replace it as I think HomeAutomator will do ever= ything I need. Two things stand in my way at the moment, one is that I can'= t afford an iPAQ (but I can use ePODs in the mean time) and the other is th= at I have not got round to distributing IR from HV (in node 0) to AV equipm= ent (in lounge), the cabling is there but the elctronics are not.
