I replace one about every 2 weeks at the moment (I think its the colder
weather)- mind you there are about 33 of them.

I have yet to replace any of the line voltage halogens that I have - the
R80
replacements in downlights are a _lot_ brighter then the old ones that they
replace.

The normal R80s on the same switch (same run time) blow every 6-8 months.
