Ah, right, fairy nuff

As u say - pentium MOBO's using _S_IMMs needed them in pairs, but we are talking about _D_IMMs here, even if they are short 'n stubby ones.
I think we'll just have to wait until Graham has a go at it - you can't really trust Crucial as a) they aren't necessarily all that knowledgable and may be guessing (certianly no harm in bunging in 2 rather than 1) and b) They have a vested interest in getting you to buy 2 :-)
