Great, nice and simple, but if most people are like myself then serial
ports are becoming increasingly fuller on my machine, and I'm already at
6.

I agree, perhaps with the solution of several displays per IP server.

I'm also in agreement with Mark's comments, and feel that we should
really pin down functional requirements. As I've already found the more
information you've got about how poeple owuld like to use things the
better.
