Re: Re: HV Multizone IR

Hi Ken me again

Speaking of scope........Yesterday i got another zone up and running and
decided it would be nice if i could send an ir command to turn off all ir
controlled equipment.. I decided to use the CAble button on hv remote. So
Cable is pressed then The power button and then all the equipment turns off
BUT only if the signal came from Zone 1 (bedroom 1) . This of course done
thru the macro programming in hv........just gives you more options.........

Andy_P for instance is going to use Zone 8 as a global zone , which
means each piece of equipment has 2 ir leds one for local zone and the other
the global zone . He wants to reduce the number of transmissions to control
similar equipment but in different zones........Hope this makes
sense.........

Frank
