OK so what have people got in the way of home telephone exchanges?

I have one anologue line, soon to have too.
We have the need for about 8 internal lines, at the moment...
Are the any systems which you can plug your mobile into when you come home,
and have calss routed through to the main house fones?
I want an exchange which i can select which fones ring at what times of the
day, etc. Eg if the fone rings at 1 in the morning coming in on line one,
only rinmg the master bedroom, or put it straight to answerfone, or ask
them
if its urgent enough to warant a call at this time, and they can choose
which ext to put it through to, eg master bedroom, steve's room, ali's
room.
or answerfone. etc.

anything like that for the cheap?

plus i would like administration to be possible through linux, maybe?
