Sorry :-(

Shouldnt use techie terms when everyone doesnt know them.

BoxConn 301A is a Krone Box Connection 301A.

OK.....so a bit more info is required.....

http://www.krone.co.uk/pdf/catalog/teleph.pdf

Approx 9" wide by 12" high and 4" deep. Contains a metal
cage capable
of holding 10 Strips Connection. aka a punchdown block capable of
terminating 10 pairs of a telephone cable or multipair CAT5.

A fully populated BoxConn 301A can terminate 100 pairs. Typically 4
strips would be filled by a couple of 20 pair cables and the other 6
strips would be used to terminate 4 pair cables feeding jacks around
the room. Jumper wire is used to interconnect between the incoming
and outgoing circuits. Used for semi-permanent or permanent wiring
where full patching facilities are not required.
