With my future net connection i have no need for an ISP

I could run a DNS server here and ask someone to be my secondary hosting a
domain myself but thats getting a little complicated.

OR

The nic authority, for $15/y will do the DNS hosting but require an mx
record for email. I run an email server here which demon dumps mail to when
i am online via smtp but i have no idea what an mx record is.

Techies - what is my mx record ?

Steve.
