Andy,

Administrative tools / Event View.
Go to the "system" log, and look for the "eventlog
started" event.

Event source: eventlog
Event: 6009

Technically, that's the time that Event Logging started, but it's
unlikely to be more than a minute after the server started unless you've
got a server running a LOT of high-footprint services!

Folks,

can anyone tell me the quickest way to determine how long an NT
server has been up? In Task manager I have the "System idle
process"
with CPU usage at 985:55:20 - I know this isn't uptime but is it
fairly close? CPU usage doesn't really go abouve 4% (except on a bad
day!)

thanks

Andy
