Re: Sending Computer Video display around the house.

Currently I have my pc located in a reasonable size cupboard and have run
using normal screened alarm cable from the pc to a jucnction box, from
there
to a video in the lounge approx. 20m, and also to the bedroom video. The
lounge video then passes the sound onto the stereo approx. 6 metres away
using same cable. The bedroomfeeds via a video into my boys bedroom.

This allows dvd, mp3 and anything else I want to be dispalyed any tv and
also mp3 through my stereo.

I admit it is rather crude but the picture quality and the sound is
exceptional, it may not be good enough for the purests, but is more tha
adequate for mere mortals.

I am using the Matrox G400 marvel, but previously use a plain millenium II
card.
