I want to add various temp. sensors around the house. I'm planning to
use the PC's analog joystick port to input the data, but I was wondering
about actually measuring the data.

I was looking at Velleman kit K2607 from Maplin's, but is there a better
(and hopefully cheaper) way of doing it?
