I decided because of the following

32Meg
Flash upgradeable OS
Colour
MP3 Player
Expandability - Add a Compact Flash sleeve then add more memory from a few
meg to a 1 Gig micro drive.  Also Blue Tooth CF card coming.  PCMCIA sleeve
allows wireless LAN and stuff like this...

Lovely Games machine too. (Pacman, Tank Commander etc etc)
