Yes, particularly since some of the groups had many hundred members
and several alternative moderators :-(
For the record, they haven't given me ANY information about what I'm
meant to have done... The first I heard about it was an email from
Patrick asking what was up with the xAP groups. I tried to log into
Yahoo, and they wouldn't let me in.
It was only when I tried to reset my password that I got:
"This Yahoo! Account Has Been Deactivated
Please remember that the Yahoo! Terms of Service provides that Yahoo!
may terminate a User's password, account or use of the Service if
Yahoo! believes (a) that a User has violated or acted inconsistently
with the letter or spirit of the Yahoo! Terms of Service, or (b) that
a User has violated the rights of Yahoo! or other Users or parties."
I'm currently set up with a new account, using a different email
address.
I have recently changed my email to an O2Hoster-hosted account. I'm
wondering if they disabled my account because of large numbers of
bounces - certainly, last week, I only seemed to be receiving about
50% of the messages in question.
