Telephone wiring in a commercial environment is done over normal CAT5
Structured Wiring.
Adapters at the telephone end convert the RJ45 into a Plug 431A for the
phone. At the patch panel the incoming phone lines are wired directly to
a
strip of sockets and patched to the relevant outlet.

Subject: [ukha_d] Telephone Patch Panel?
Can anyone point me in the direction of a 20/24 port patch panel with
BT
type LJU sockets as opposed to RJ45?
I've done a web search but can only find RJ45 type panels.
