Yes I took my Fuji apart when I was wall mounting it. The screen is
fixed
to the front case. In fact in is in two parts: One being the actual
screen
(no different from a laptop screen, the second being the actually touch
sensitive part.
If you can find a way of fixing these parts to a custom surround, I see
no
reason why not to do this. The results would certainly be
impressive!
