Anyone on the list got opinions/advice on TiVo subs (please email me OFF
list). Thinking of going for the one-off £200 quid one. Realise this is
tied to the box but reading the small print on their site it seems fine....
* Please be aware that the Product Lifetime subscription is tied to the
TiVo
service number, not to your name and covers the lifetime of the product.
If you choose to sell/give this digital video recorder to someone else, the
TiVo subscription will remain with it, not you.
The Product Lifetime subscription cannot be transferred to another digital
video recorder of a different make, model or manufacturer. Each digital
video recorder purchased requires its own subscription.
If you repair or replace this digital video recorder through the
manufacturer under a warranty, the Product Lifetime subscription will still
be active.
