With a little work it should be.

I have just got a humidity sensor ( restive ) for about 2 quid.
I've put it in the tumble dryer outlet so I should be able to tell when
the clothes are dry.

Haven't tested it yet, but can let you know how well it works.

Temperator monitoring would be a fun project, but is moisture
measureable via a PC connected sensor in any way?
