to recall some info on optimum screen size vs optimum viewing
distance....anyone
know where I can fin this info?

Indeed. I'd rather spend that Plasma kind of
money
on a proper size front projection setup ! I don't see the point of
spending that kind of wonga on an extra 10 inches over my CRT
telly.
