Mark and I had a Windows Messenger chat on Friday while browsing through the CBus documentation http://www.clipsal.com/wat_lib_pdf.cfm#link5

This looks like it is the dog’s nads – especially as it uses a bus topology rather than star wiring – so its easily upgradeable without having to flood wire with CAT5. The Comfort web site now have the Cbus eight channel dimmers for sale and they compare quite favourably with LD11s in terms of price. (though each channel is limited to 1A).

I’m going to get a couple of quotes for a turnkey system, with Alarm system, web server, plus stand-alone controller. If it looks reasonable it might be the system for me.

Tim

Withdraws sheepishly into the corner while recalling previous posts about CAT5!
