I'll have to be careful as the main feed for these cameras goes into the
big 'ouse - I'll just be splitting the feed on the gate and main
driveway cameras, and probably adding one on the front door of my own.

Well $other_geezer said CPC had 'em for 120 quid, but I've seen 'em in
their
specials catalogue for 40quid, and I'm sure they're not as much as that
normally.
The LookC goes for a couplo hundred notes, from what I recall.
$other_geezer also mentioned the camera mux units you can get, which
usually
you can set on auto-dwell (ie it does n seconds on each channel) or you
can
switch via serial, but that'd require some software effort.
Course, depending on your skillz, you could prolly knock up a serial
controlled camera multiplexor for significantly less dosh.
