Yes,
I would like it to be wall mounted so when you place it on the wall, power is automatically connected and unit is recharging. It should be easy to detach, but still have some kind of lock so it cannot drop by accident from the stand.

A box that the unit fits in as you suggest that has fixings on the rear for
either mounting to the wall or to a 45 degree stand perhaps?
