Try Putty...

It's a great terminal proggy. not sure about the key reprogramming, but it
can emulate many terminal keyboards...

http://www.chiark.greenend.org.uk/~sgtatham/putty/

also supports SSH which is handy

Ian.

Subject: [ukha_d] OT : Terminal Emulators...

I'm trying to find a Terminal Emulator program which has the following
functionality:

1) Works under Win2k / XP.
2) Allows the function keys 1 - 9 to be programmed as "ESC" +
"1" to
"ESC" + "9"
3) Preferably allows the user to set screen and text colours and fonts.
4) Is FREEWARE or FREE software...

Anyone got any suggestions?

I've been downloading various Terminal Emulators at Random this
afternoon from CNET and none so far are quite right...

Phil
