I've given up on Maplins since they're just so poorly stocked these
days.  My nearest one is in Edinburgh anyway (at least an hour and a
half drive) but even the stuff on the web site seems to be much reduced.

Get accounts with RS, Farnell and CPC and you'll never need to go near
them again :-)
