Re: Replacing Yahoo with a paid provider was Posting etiquette

I've just wade through about 600 posts after being at the hospital for the last few days, took about 45 min to pick out what I wanted, what's the problem?

I agree totally with Stuart except for the adds being annoying, they are at the bottom so who gives a s**t, Yahoo have a business to finance.

The group works, leave it alone.

Who started this discussion again anyway, look at how many more posts there are now because of it.

Subject: RE: [ukha_d] Replacing Yahoo with a paid provider was Posting etiquette

This list has been built up with a lot of work from Mark McCall, and others over the last few years, and has developed into a community.  Although the ads are becoming annoying, (Nortan Internet Security can block them anyway) I am happy with the group "as-is" and wouldnt like to see a change.

As far as the "on-topic/off-topic" discusion regarding the fujitsu pads, looking at the Forum that was set up, most people are using the units as some form of controller, which I think (please someone correct me if Im mistaken) falls within HA.  If you not interested in this topic, just like any other topic, then use your delete key (usually located to the right of your keyboard) or use rules.

Finally, before I duck, and await the flames this post is sure to genereate, I would like to express my thanks to Mark, and the other regulars (you know who you are) for making this group what it has become.

As always all IMHO.

Stuart
