Where is this socket??  I have a silver in my ePods and have never been able to find the connector?

They also have a connector socket for an external Ariel - although I don't know how much one is or how it would improve the range.

The ORiNOCO cards are pretty strong as the metal shell of the PCMCIA housing extends to the end of the card ... most others have a weak point where the aerial joins the card.

So - why would I want these "silver and "gold" wireless cards, over and above the cheapo 3com 80211b cards for £64 ?
