Not sure if this has already been asked/answered - but.. why are you using 127.168.0.2 & not sticking to the rfc1918 addys?

Sorry: I didn't make it as clear on the email as it was in my head ;-)

What I meant to say was I can see my home PC over the internet but can't actually get at the HA PC because it has a different IP.  If I put in the HA PC IP (127.168.0.2) I don't get anything as expected.  How do I overcome this??

Cheers and sorry for the confusion

Pedro

My current game of choice is Diablo 2 which plays well over lan or internet.

Connect to web browser on server PC using the network PC name, i.e. if server is called bob, connect using http://bob - same works for clients that use dhcp. (or do you mean, how do you share the internet connection between machines?)

Hi all

I have just finished installing my home LAN and would like to try some multiplayer games over it.  I don't want to have to use the internet so any suggestions for good multiplayer games which can be played over a LAN would be great.....

Another thing:  I have ICS sharing enabled on one PC and am using Homeseer on the other (HA) PC; how do I connect to the web browser on the HA PC???  Fixed IP on the HA PC but dynamic on the other.

Cheers

Pedro de Oliveira
